Streamlink has a command-line switch (and perhaps a setting) called --twitch-disable-ads which does what I said. Approximate I should've mentioned that.

EDIT: There's apparently some weird interaction bug between HLS passthrough and disabling twitch ads.

eastward: I tried it on a different device and didn't get it, and so make certain Streamlink is up-to-engagement and you're using the --twitch-disable-ads control line switch/setting every bit mentioned above.

I wonder if there will be less downtime betwixt runs since tech-wise everybody is running on their dwelling set up up and we should but be switching stream sources? That'd be rad if it kept the energy up.
